Keep on running!

30th January 2017

Are you shaping up for summer? Want to boost your motivation? York Against Cancer can help!

We have two great opportunities to help you lose weight, get fit and make life better for people with cancer.

We’re delighted to be an official partner in the Asda Foundation York 10K Jane Tomlinson Run For All, and we’re thrilled to join forces with the fantastic R U Taking the P..?  race, the York event aimed at raising cash for, and awareness of, prostate cancer.

The Asda Foundation York 10k, for all ability levels, takes place in York on Saturday August 6, and we have free places plus a free running vest for all runners who individually pledge to raise at least £100 for York Against Cancer.

R U Taking the P…? takes place in Rowntree Park on Father’s Day, Sunday June 18, and we need as many people as possible to tackle the men-only fundraising 5K.

Walkers, joggers and runners are all welcome. Adult entry is £17 including an ‘R U Taking the P?’ tee shirt, with profits to York Against Cancer and to prostate cancer research by Professor Norman Maitland at York University.

Entries open soon for this great race – keep watching our website www.yorkagainstcancer.org.uk.

To claim a place in the Asda Foundation York 10k, please email  janice.wilford@yorkagainstcancer.org.uk  or call 01904 764466.
