Minibus service to St James', Leeds

Respite Homes

We have two respite properties available for cancer patients who are being treated by the York & Scarborough Hospital Trust. One based in the picturesque seaside town of Filey and the other in the gorgeous countryside of Yapham.

Mobile Chemotherapy Unit

In 2017, York Against Cancer was proud to launch Yorkshire’s first mobile chemotherapy unit. The £700,000 mobile treatment centre offers systemic anti-cancer treatments and supportive treatments inside a vehicle, which moves to different locations to give more patients treatment access.

Exercise Classes

At York Against Cancer, we believe that following a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a healthy weight is important for everyone, particularly for cancer patients. Whatever stage of your treatment you are at, we can help you improve your wellbeing.

Support Groups

At York Against Cancer, we regularly partner with other organisations who can help those living with cancer. That’s why we’re always updating our database of local cancer support groups in Yorkshire to make sure you have somebody to talk to.
