‘The Legend of the Holy Snail’ – Blue Light Theatre Company is back!

Following the huge success of the recent Comedy Murder Mystery ‘A Performance to Die for!’- where a magnificent £1000 was raised for York Against Cancer and Motor Neurone Disease Association – the Blue Light Theatre Company are back with their latest pantomime ‘The Legend of the Holy Snail’.

This is a brand new and original story written by Perri Ann Barley with additional script by Steven Clark and Directed by Craig Barley with Choreography by Devon Wells.

What’s it about?

Ariel is celebrating her birthday and as a gift she has requested to replace her Mermaid’s tail with legs so she can go to the dance with the prince. The only one who has magic powerful enough to make this happen is The Holy Snail – but does it really exist or is it just legend?  The Mermaids and Islanders make it their mission to find out.  Unfortunately, the incorrigible and evil Captain Hook and his crew have found themselves shipwrecked on the Island and they also want to find the mystical creature.  Who will get there first?

This fun-filled, family friendly show is packed with amazing music that will have you singing and dancing along.

All proceeds go to York Against Cancer and Motor Neurone Disease Association.  Join us at the Acomb Working Mens Club, Front Street, Acomb, York in January 2023 for a brilliant, family friendly, Island adventure.
